Your Little League Needs YOU – without Umpires the game just isn’t the same. Our League is committed to growing a strong core of dedicated and knowledgeable Umpires to help ensure our youth get the best baseball experience possible.
Rocky Mountain Little League is excited to offer its members 12 years of age and up the opportunity to take part in Umpiring for the 2019 Season.
If you are new to baseball or have been around baseball for years it does not matter. All are welcome. An in-depth training clinic will be provided from April 5-7, 2019, to all new recruits which will give you the basics on rules and field mechanics. The clinic is mandatory for anyone wishing to become an Umpire. More information about the clinic and a registration page will be coming in the next few weeks.
Pay for Umpires ranges from $35-$60 per game depending on the level of game that the Umpire is working. You make your own schedule and take only the games that work for you. Whether you work 5 or 25 games this season that is completely up to you. There are also opportunities to work summer and fall baseball games if you so desire.
If you are interested in Umpiring this season, send an email to UIC Jeff Anderson at firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name, date of birth, address and contact information.
Thank you very much and Rocky Mountain Little League looks forward to working with you!
See link below or at the top of our home page to access the registration system.
