Feel free to provide feedback regarding our RM Umpires. Positive and Negative feedback is welcome. The only way we can identify those Umpires that are doing a good job and deserve to Umpire at a higher level is if we get feedback. Likewise, the only way we can identify training issues or concerns with Umpires is if we get feedback.
The Umpire Evaluation Form can be found below. Please 'Enable Macros' when you are opening the document. Fill in the specified fields, save a copy and then email the filled in form to the RMLL UIC.
LITTLE LEAGUE VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS - 2026
To ensure the proper protection of Little League participants, Little League Alberta has 3 requirements for volunteers:
1. A completed Little League Volunteer Application (required every year)
All Little League volunteers are also required to complete and submit the 2026 Little League Canada Volunteer Form and associated documentation (see below to download and print the form).
2026 Little League Canada Volunteer Form
When completed, please email the Volunteer Form to safety.rmll@gmail.com.
Please include:
2. A Police Information Check clearance letter (required every year)
**New for 2026**
Instructions to obtain a PIC from the Calgary Police Service for Little League:
After submission, the CPS usually takes 2-3 weeks to respond. This could be longer if ID verification is required. Note that an “Attend” letter is not a valid police check, this means you will need to attend a CPS location in person.
After receiving a clearance PIC letter, send a copy to safety.rmll@gmail.com.
3. A completed Child Abuse education course (only required once, not every year).
The online Child Abuse education course can be completed through either Little League or through SafeSport Canada. Note that only one of the two Child Abuse courses is required to be completed.
Option A. Safesport Canada “Safe Sport Training” course. This online course is available at: https://coach.ca/sport-safety/safe-sport-training
Option B. Little League “Abuse Awareness” course (formally USA Baseball “Abuse Awareness for Adults” course). This online course is available at: https://www.littleleague.org/player-safety/child-protection-program/safesport-resources-parents/
