Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Intermediate Blue Jays. I am looking forward to coaching your child this year. I will be using this page as the main communication tool for our team this year. Below you will find our practice and game schedule as well as important team news. Please familiarize yourself with this site. Our Team picture day will be on May 24th. We are scheduled for 8 AM. Thus, in order to arrange and organize, we will need to meet outside the Cedarbrae Community Centre at 7:45 am. Wear full Team Uniform to the pictures (hat, jersey, pants, socks, etc).
Since we will be up early and already dressed, we can head over to Trico after photos and start practice at 9 am, finishing around 11 am.
RMLL has commited to making your child's baseball experience as worthwhile as possible by partnering with the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). This program helps to encourage Coaches, Parents and Players to remember what youth sport is about...having fun and teaching life lessons. As your Manager this season I am commited to making sure your child improves their baseball knowledge and skills, has fun and learn important life lessons (i.e. sportmanship and teamwork). Below you will find a document called the PCA Parent Letter. Pleae take some time to read this as it explains some of the basic PCA principles.
As a parent you can help your child get the most out of their baseball season by taking on the PCA model. To show your commitment I ask that each parent read, print off, and sign the PCA Parent Pledge form which is below the Parent Letter. Please return the signed letter to me as soon as possible.
